No, Mr. V.P. We don't have to work with the Repulicans

We were out of town so did not watch the debate - except for some highlights which made it to the news. And one of Hillary's comment - with a smile - was, that perhaps, she likes to have the Republicans on her enemy list. And our dear V.P. Biden did not like it.

Hillary's comment brought a comment from Rachel Maddow. We do not watch Rachel on a regular basis. Mid evening, we are having dinner, or watching a TV program or just all politics up. But Rachel ran many clips of Obama who wanted to work with the Republicans, who, as soon as he was elected, went to one of those Republicans retreat and was even met with standing ovations.

So Rachel comment was about a major policy change. That if Hillary is elected she is not going to make an effort to work with the Republicans. And I say: good for her.

Remember the "goal" of Mitchell even before the 2012 elections? To make sure that Obama served only one term. Not about the budget, not about the crumbling Middle East, not about immigration - always a topic - not about the still high unemployment rate. No, the turtle senator just wanted to throw obstacles in anything proposed by the administration. And, of course, this is what the Republicans have been doing since that rude congressman said "you lie" during the State of the Union.

So why should we bend backward to work with the Republicans? Any more than necessary?

Well, we may have to but Hillary did smile, did mention the Republicans at the end of her "list."

Oh, and, of course, the Republicans are now paying the price for being so "in your face" for eight years. For saying "no" instead of trying to govern as adults. So now their voters love the biggest "in your face" of them all. And if not Trump, than Carson.

before Obama, but the division did start with Reagan.

Reagan, as we all know, launched a DEADLY attack on all non rich Americans, and nothing has been the same since.

Did you know rich people build monuments to Reagan?

until a few days ago, talking to a friend who'd recently watched a documentary about Anita Hill.

As I've posted here before, I supported his short campaign in 1988 and in 2008 but did not think that he should run now.

Alan Simpson was the worst, but Biden was bad enough. He, they, did not have to accept her story, but they did not have to treat her with contempt and derision.
