I just can't see anyone really thinking Carson has a grasp on how to make government work for anyone.

how government works. He's a brain surgeon, after all; this makes him somewhat like God, so what can possibly be so difficult about managing government? W relied on Cheney because he either knew he didn't know diddly squat about government, or he was too lazy to bother with it. Carson doesn't know he needs a Talleyrand, but maybe Evil Dick will persuade him that he does...

How could she not know what these criminals were going to do. Even we here at DU knew Bush meant death, deceit, deficit. She worked for Poppy Bush, she knew.

Cruz, I think.

But you need not worry.

Carson will not be the nominee.

We are watching the typical farce race of the republican asshat clowns. By Super Tuesday, one of the Republican elites will emerge. I think it will be Marco Rubio.

Is there any real sign of Williams being capable of controlling power from behind the throne as was Cheney?

I don't mean to say it's not possible, but I suspect a Cheney type would likely have a career rather more linked to gov't bureaucracy
