I know this is META, but fix the fuckin' web site!

Seriously. The first click is apparently just to alert the adbot that you've clicked. Then you get to watch the beachball spin until you click again. DU won't load until you do the second click.

Feel free to lock me, admins. But you should discuss this at your next koffee klatch.

one click is all it takes.

Now, sometimes, from work, when I shouldn't be checking DU, the first click will produce a "network error" but the second click will work fine.

I got used to it at work.

and began using FireFox. I can't remember. It was extremely aggravating but when it stopped I think I was just relieved and didn't think about it again.

I spent a lot of time fruitlessly Googling "double click virus", "two click bug", "first click doesn't work", .... etc..

Why do I have to switch anything? It's the same on my phone (iOS) and on my desktop. The first click just stalls. The second click loads immediately.

Sure...now I know just to click twice. But why?

It's a sign he outsources iterationations and doesn't get it. We will have to wait for du 4 or 5 or whatever platform we are stuck with. It's silly really.

Same with discussionist. I thought the first iteration had promis as a platform but the potential never evolved. On any platform your shouldn't have to wait for a complete overhaul to get improvements.

All that said I love DU and David.

Give us one new feature a month please there are plenty of developers who will help, and fire our web host.

The reason it does this is because our IP has to be routed through the NSA first, so they can view all of our post and pm's in real time. There, now instead of just meta, we now have a conspiracy theory too!
