(40,168 posts)Cruz is positively terrifying.
Trump will sink himself, if his own party doesn't do it first.

(1,033 posts)the small hope Republicans had for Florida have disappeared with Rubio having a(nother) disastrous night. Just with the "momentum" or narrative now, Trump will beat Rubio in Florida in my opinion.
Ohio? Kasich probably wins that one, but that's not enough to stop Trump.

(4,510 posts)easy as people think. He's said some terrible shit and people still vote for him. What happens i repubs unify around him or if polls are off because people are too ashamed to admit that they vote for him? He has no principles or scruples. The Clintons don't either but this race is going to be messy like a mudfight and trump is a pig.

(8,759 posts)that such an opinion surprised the heck out of me.
These are people I would never guess would be for Trump (I know plenty of Trump voters being rural).
What a freaking mess that so many folks do not know any better.

(9,974 posts)At a resort where there were a lot of snowbirds. Two of them high fived each other about supporting Trump.
As I watched them, I felt like saying "so as a snowbird who most likely goes a mile down the road to be a medical tourist in Mexico, you are OK with a potential POTUS getting into a pissing match with Mexico??". Who knows what the pissing match can lead to...medical tourist snowbirds may be stopped at the border and turned back or Trump may put an end to it...we can all say "not likely" but him getting this far was once "not likely", also.

(50,986 posts)voters in Mississippi give a rat's ass what Mitt Romney has to say about The Donald.
Can't say I entirely blame 'em either.

(1,989 posts)From the USA Today:
"If Florida really is Rubio's last stand, he can feel encouraged that he leads Trump 48-23% among early voters there, according to the Monmouth University poll. More than half of Florida's GOP electorate is expected to vote before Election Day.
Trump enjoys a commanding lead 42-26% among Floridians who have yet to vote, the poll suggests. But Rubio has shown an ability to win over late-deciding voters."
Without Florida, how does he get to 1237??

(6,342 posts)Rubio is underperforming practically every poll the past week. And I don't trust early voting numbers, especially with an entire week of voting left.
