sammy brownback (ass) Kansas is trying to end-run schools

A secret senate bill SB 311 will be heard Thursday without public or media knowledge.

It strips all funding power from Dept of Education and gives it directly to Sam Brownback. Ways and Means are hearing it behind closed doors and may vote.

This furtive attempted end-run around the rights of parents and educators to have input into our schools was submitted by none other than Senator Ty Matherson from Andover. Share this post to spread his shame.

Please share with your teacher and parent friends so they can call their reps. Very scary, but what else can we expect from the Brownsack and his minions? YOUR voice and activism is all that can stop these assaults on our children's educations.
