I love Idaho because of the natural beauty but why the people of Idaho have always voted against their own best interests has always been beyond my ability to understand it.

I can't imagine other than he's Canadian and knows how to talk to people used to
living in the woods, but he's actually a city guy, isn't he? Or is it the fact that he's a Christian evangelical? Did he appeal to the Mormons? Even that is mystifying to me.

He came across as a gun lover in one commercial if I recall, and he did show up Sunday for a campaign appearance at Boise State. He also appeared at a campaign rally in Coeur d’Alene on Saturday with the pastor who was later shot . Trump had a phone interview with KTVB (NBC affiliate) and promised to "eat some of those delicious Idaho potatoes". Phoniness doesn't sit well with a lot of folks here.

but also the least electable. And every state he wins is one step closer to a brokered convention, and subsequent GE rout.
