the Repubs switch to mostly winner take all primaries.

And most of the remaining big states are open primaries (ie. Trump does even better)

I don't see how Trump can be stopped.

Maybe this last minute GOPe "stop Trump" effort is just another Repub consultant ripoff to fleece billionaire donors some more.

7. There is a problem with "winner take all" in upcoming states.

Even if he wins enough delegates, he will be winning them with a plurality and not a majority vote. I don't think that share of the popular vote gets him very far in the general election. And I think he has a ceiling of radical support. Many independents and Republicans will cross over or stay home.

It will tear the Republicans from asshole to asshole and then Hillary will easily beat him in November.

10. I don't think he'd even win a Republican primary if it were between just him and one other person

He absolutely can't win a general election.

Even in the primary, the anti-Trump vote was split between a few people.

failed a vast number of Americans who are looking for a better life-- for themselves and their descendants.

Now, I don't think all that many of them know just what should be done, but they seem sure that whatever it is, it isn't being done.

So, since traditional politicians aren't doing the job, they're giving Trump a shot. That they may be shooting themselves in their feet is a chance they are taking.

Bringing Romney out as a last gasp just reinforces their fears.
