Looks Like The Media Will Try To Win Election For The GOP. We Have A Serious Problem.

The MSM is so bad these days. And it looks like they all get a lot worse during the general election. You notice so many things they do to help GOPPERS while dissing Democrats at every level. Even the local news has an undercurrent of bias to it. The media will do anything and everything to handicap Democrats locally and nationally.

And the GOP gets some much clandestine free advertising that it is not even funny. Just the recent treatment of Hillary versus Trump just screams at you. Sophomoric coverage of GOP antics outweighs talking about ANY issues is so obvious. The media is setting up a scenario that is like a WWF wrestling match than any kind of informative election. The media in its own way is supporting and condoning fascism.

The media IS now the problem and it is hard to know how to fix it. I am not sure the internet and social media is enough. The media looks more dangerous than the terrorists. ANY GOPPER will be more than a disaster for the US and the world.

protection it is supposed to have. That is why they are not reporting that our bought off politicians, Republicans and Democrats, will give them a huge tax windfall and then say we don't have the money for anything but the military!

I keep hearing them talking about the possibility of the Republicans losing the Supreme Court for a generation, like they don't want to see that happen and to keep that idea in the mind of the public.

That's why we (apparently) can't praise Bernie without also calling Hillary a liar. Or can't praise Hillary without getting carpet-bombed with every false notion the Cons have been grinding out since '92. Who is Hillary? Who knows? We're all just following along in the media script, like the poor little lambs we are. They've been writing this one for 25 years or so. How is a reporter's family going to eat if they don't do what Rupert tells them? La La, Republicans win, surprise.

Can we all just get along?

7. My Point Is That MSM Is Getting More Creative And Brazenly Obvious.

I grew up in the Huntley-Brinkley era where the media was by and large very informative. They were more neutral and it was hard to see them taking sides. What I am seeing is an even more brazen and creative MSM. There are things being done that is so subtle in one way and yet so obvious and brazen than others.

I see them controlling the debate more than ever. They question GOPPERS very differently than Democrats. They work at creating fireworks rather than informing the public.

It has a lot to do with the "both sides do it" or giving "equal" time to even the most destructive, racist and evil ideas. It is about absurd and dangerous memes being give legitimacy that you would never seen even entertained in the Huntley-Brinkley were. The MSM areas is so surreal now and what they are doing makes "1984" scenarios seem amateurish by comparison.

I am amazed at how the public is being programmed in so many ways. And I am sorry to see how many people are just completely ignorant about past history which would make today's antics obvious. Certain mental disconnections ar so deep it is frightening.
Voters are deliberately walking into traps even an idiot could see.

I understood how biased the media had become even in the first days of Reagan and I have been stunned at how things have continued to deteriorate. Telecom '96 legislation has been a disaster and led to the kind of consolidation we see now.

and speaking as an insider to the broadcast news industry, I can tell you how impossible and frustrating getting reform has been since the 90s. Yes, worse every day! A designed program of rewriting history and creating stubborn myths. They have it down to a science.

I have been quietly watching them. Great victory for Bernie last night, but do you know how many more folks voted republican than democratic? It could be that we were seeing larger republican turn-outs because we have mostly been in more conservative states & the cons know how to get their folks to the polls. We need to do the same.

It is imperative to nominate Bernie so we have a chance, but this is no cake walk. Trump has tapped into the anger out there. We have our work cut out for us.

The poster claimed all the MSM except Fox had been Liberal forever, and that Fox had just given what he called a warm welcome to Hillary, making Fox now, in his view, a Left wing media.

So I suppose a good part of the media bias is in the eyes of the beholder?

there's no news on the news and Radio, newspapers op-page, and TV are simply, overwhelmingly, slanted to conservative view points. It isn't worth my time so I no longer spend it there. When you listen to someone spoon fed FOX news or hate radio its like talking to someone that's lived on the moon for 10 years with no contact with Earth. They don't know anything that is actually happening in America. Why? Because the media doesn't want them to know.
