it was a "paper coup" like you see in Turkey, Paraguay, or Honduras: the neocons long saw a functioning US democracy as something of an obstacle to fast response and geopolitics

If you're young, old, or a PoC, there are people working hard to prevent you from voting or to nullify your vote if you're lucky enough to cast a ballot.

Big money is filling the airwaves and message boards with lies and distortions designed to discourage you from voting your conscience. Your order is to toe the line or stay home.

Real discussions of the issues are discouraged because they might result in an informed citizenry, which threatens the people who are literally banking on your ignorance.

Al Gore supports We the People over welfare for the wealthy. President Obama said he was the only thing standing between the Banksters and the pitchforks.

Al Gore supports peace over the money trumps peace crowd. Today, national "news" media like the New York Times openly propagandize for war.



So, there's other stuff, too. Like the environment.
