Seriously Considering UnFriending Trump Supporters

I have a pretty large number of people on my friends list. I'm so pissed right now watching what is going on with Trump and everything he represents.

I found a post on Facebook that will actually go through your friends list and identify who are Trump supporters. I am seriously considering unfriending these knuckle-heads and purge them from my list of so-called "friends."

Am I overreacting?

So much of who we are is reflected in our politics. For me (and I believe many others), it is nearly impossible to separate the two.

But there's a meme going around FB that says "If you're voting for Donald Trump please unfriend me. I have lost all respect for you as a thinking and compassionate human being".

A lot of them sent me friend request, again. I guess they thought they were mistakenly unfriended. Now I just unfollow them, instead. That way I don't have to see anything posted by them but I also no longer have to explain why I'm not accepting their second friend request. It works better for me, especially with coworkers.

But how does one go about "unfollowing?" And when you unfollow someone, are they notified?

On their profile page there is a following icon. You press it and pick unfollow. Now I don't have to read their stupid posts and they have no idea.

Life is too short to deal with people spewing hate against everyone. And if people of that short unfriend me I will take it as a compliment.

I don't know what your relationship is with them and I suppose if you can keep politics out of your relationship, you can keep them if you want. It's sort of scary the kind of person you might have to be to follow him. But I would custom post any political stuff on Facebook, Twitter, etc.
Good luck
