When you protest in this fashion, you bring attention not just to you, but even more attention to Trump himself.

The protests would be damaging to 99% of political candidates. But Trump isn't a traditional political candidate. His entire campaign is designed to fight political correctness. So when people protest, it will only strengthen the resolve of Trump's supporters. And the camera stays focused on him.

It gives the networks an excuse to cut to the Trump rally early and than an excuse to run it in its entirety.

How many Bernie or Clinton rallies are they airing in their entirety on the cable networks? It can't be about ratings, because the Bernie supporters at least would watch.
