For smart people- Free Trade Agreements

So NAFTA and TPP - are hard to to understand...

I found a non-biased website - well at least they don't support any party or candidates....

It's called Public Citizens. Org.

A consumer group formed in the 70's.

I have spent the last month reading as much as possible there, about these agreements.

I'm not dumb, but the information was hard to grasp a little, I had to read some stuff two or three times to understand. Then try to find the counterpoints from other sources, and double check what Public Citizens stated as "facts". It was somewhat grueling. I can understand why so many people are clueless.

I think I have a pretty good understanding now, and I'm pretty much scared shitless. There is no tweaking these things, these agreements should be squashed completely.

So my question to the smart folks that understand them, is can the US ever get out of the ones we have already signed? If so how?

My other question is what is going to happen if our large trade deficits continue to grow?
