Donald Trump will host a group of nearly two dozen influential Republicans on Monday afternoon for an off-the-record gathering that his allies hope will improve his relationship with the congressional GOP and the party's Washington establishment, according to two people who were invited.
Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-Ala.), the populist-right favorite who endorsed Trump last month, and Trump campaign counsel Donald F. McGahn organized the meeting along with Trump's advisers. The venue will be McGahn's law firm, Jones Day, which is a short walk from the Capitol.
When asked Saturday about the meeting, Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski confirmed that the candidate would meet privately with Republicans ahead of his speech Monday to the American Israel Public Affairs Committee's policy conference in Washington. He declined to provide a list of attendees.
"Mr. Trump is continuing his outreach to Washington and there has been an overwhelming positive response," Lewandowski said in a brief phone interview.

CONTEXT:
Donald Trump Campaign Manager Corey Lewandowski Appears To Grab Protester At Rally
Video taken at a Donald Trump rally in Tucson on Saturday appears to show the GOP front-runners campaign manager grabbing the collar of a protester, just 11 days after the Trump aide was accused of assaulting a reporter.
CBS News reporter Jacqueline Alemany identified the man as Corey Lewandowski in the video she posted from the rally in the Tucson Convention Center. The video shows the protester in a heated conversation with Lewandowski and another man wearing black, and then a hand grabs the young man by the collar, pulling him back.
The Trump campaign claimed that it was not Lewandowski, but rather a person to his left, who grabbed the unidentified mans collar.
The video clearly shows the protester reacting to the man who pulled him, not to Mr. Lewandowski, a statement read. Mr. Trump does not condone violence at his rallies, campaign spokesperson Hope Hicks said.

In this day and age, a great deal of tv viewers now have INSTANT REPLAY in the form of dvr! I gave gone to the tape, and am going to throw a flag on this one. Yes, the man to the left did hold the protesters collar, but the stopping force, that stopped the protester in his tracks came from YOUR LEFT HAND that can clearly be seen also grabbing the collar.
Tv viewers have high definition footage and digital replay. Combine that with my 60 inch screen, and you fool NOBODY!
and don't even get me started on why a CAMPAIGN MANAGER is out in the crowd bouncing people.....
