We've certainly had more destructive failures, but I can't think of any that have been kept failing for as long as this embargo has.

A lot of Miami makes its living on the Embargo, it's a game.

(23,272 posts)I know officially the date is @ 1991 but we've continued our hegemonic dictatorial interventions against socialist/communist "enemies" (Honduras most recently) in spite of some arbitrary timeline.
I do completely agree, the stupid embargo ranks right up there if not at the top spot.
