Salah Abdeslam was captured in Belgium on Friday. He is said to have been planning a terror attack on Brussels.

Belgian authorities had been worried since then that ISIS would try an attack soon, either in retaliation to his capture or to try to complete the attack he was planning.

Today there was a bombing in Brussels. You would think it's perfectly natural to assume then that it was ISIS carrying out the plan that Belgian authorities had been planning.

Yet there have been plenty of progressives all around social media who - before ISIS finally did take responsibility - condemned anyone who assumed it had been ISIS as racist Islamophobes. Many were trying to downplay possible link between the bombing and ISIS before ISIS admitted to it.

Was only getting sketchy reports, but there was no actual claim of who was responsibility. Anything like this should be condemn, no matter who is involved.

That means you are about to say something daring and unpopular. When, actually, everyone here would naturally condemn ISIS for the Brussels attacks. I indulged in a little sarcasm to point that out.
