The Pope had best avoid small planes.

Heresy is not looked upon kindly by our Corporatist Masters

http://www.commondreams.org/news/2015/07/13/pope-calls-world-youth-rise-against-global-capitalism

The latest call for a youth uprising against global capitalism came not from grassroots groups, but from the leader of the Catholic Church, who on Sunday gave a rousing speech during which he told a crowd of young people in Paraguay that it is their time to "make a mess."

The address marked the end of Pope Francis' week-long pilgrimage to Latin America, during which he also assailed the prevailing economic system as the "dung of the devil," saying that the systemic "greed for money" is a "subtle dictatorship" that "condemns and enslaves men and women."

Pope Francis comes from that Jesuit ideology. He intends to really shake things up. Good for him.

Christianity in its purest form IS liberation theology..
Liberation from death, misery, fear and the threat of eternal damnation.

The idjits wallowing in their misery and self-pity at the foot of the cross because 'my god, I'm a terrible person what have I done'

are too busy with that to realize that the person trying to pick them up and make them whole is the already resurrected Christ...technically it's day 5 and they missed all the important bits.

Acceptably, there are those here who don't practice or believe. However you get there is fine, and I understand that as far as your concerned the rest of us may as well be discussing the nuances of stamp collecting. That's also fine. Your Right NOT to believe is what makes us different than the fools who think you're going to be punished in th next life..IF there's a Next Life, I don't think you are=)

I wish he'd tell Catholics that if they have contempt for, and refuse to help the poor, they should not be allowed to receive communion because it goes against church teachings.

Republican Catholic heads would explode!

the faithful MUST live true to the literal interpretation of Jesus' words we'd see war declared on the Vatican. And not just by the GOP!

on the planet.

http://www.pinknews.co.uk/2015/10/05/rainbow-catholic-network-launches-as-pope-condemns-same-sex-marriage/

Pope Francis is not as offensively ostentatious as Ratzinger was, but his human rights policies are not different from John Paul II. He's a bigot. To put it simply. He calls capitalism the 'dung of the devil'? I don't give a shit about his opinion. He calls same sex marriage a 'move by the devil' to destroy families.

His opinion isn't worth the words on news print.

His church is so wealthy it's total net worth can't be estimated.
