God - Florida Scott - What an asswipe

Florida Republican Governor Rick Scott on Sunday accused the federal government of lagging in providing assistance to combat the spread of the Zika virus in a Miami-area neighborhood, the site of the first U.S. transmission of the virus.

This is the man who gutted every health program, sneered at the Federal government at every chance, and now he's trying to blame the government for his mismanagement and lack of attention to the health issues of every Floridian.

But it's not President Obama's fault that Congress couldn't pass a clean funding bill for Zika virus assistance. Instead, the Republicans insisted on junking up the bill with unrelated nonsense and pet projects, knowing that Obama wouldn't sign off on it.

This one is squarely on the Republicans in the House and the Senate.

in the Senate and House. Amazing how they deride and criticize "the government" but whine when they don't immediately get what they want or need.

I'm in FL so I know how much we need Zika funding. Have him talk to lil Marco too.
