He built up in Australia and Great Britain and had going concerns before getting into the American market. He lost a shit-ton of money, but always was looking ahead to the prize, which he finally achieved. Trump doesn't have the vision, the time, the stamina, or the money to do even 1/100 of what Murdoch did, and since there's already a perfectly functioning right-wing ratfucking operation going, who's going to invest in a proposed Trump network?
