Marital rape (United States law)

Marital rape in United States law, also known as spousal rape, is non-consensual sex in which the perpetrator is the victim's spouse. It is a form of partner rape, of domestic violence, and of sexual abuse. *******TODAY, MARITAL RAPE IS ILLEGAL IN ALL 50 STATES.*****

The legal history of marital rape laws in the United States is a long and complex one, that spans over several decades. The criminalization of marital rape in the United States started in the mid-1970s and by 1993 marital rape became a crime in all 50 states, under at least one section of the sexual offense codes. During the 1990s, most states differentiated between the way marital rape and non-marital rape were treated. The laws have continued to change and evolve, with most states reforming their legislation in the 21st century, but differences remain in some states, in particular in South Carolina.

your spouse." Should have known that with MC, there is no criminal charge of rape even if committed against one's spouse.

Unfortunately too many of my gender seem to not get that. Or at least find a way to shade the situation to define it to themselves as not rape.

Threats to a reporter. I remember there being a recording of even more:

"I will make sure that you and I meet one day while we're in the courthouse. And I will take you for every penny you still don't have. And I will come after your Daily Beast and everybody else that you possibly know," Cohen said. "So I'm warning you, tread very fucking lightly, because what I'm going to do to you is going to be fucking disgusting. You understand me?"

When he's on tv, he looks miserable, like he just ate the poop of a mangy dog living beneath an overpass. Like he just found out his wife was doing the pool boy in his study, on his desk, with an internet camera on, broadcasting it to the world.

If you took the subject matter of the first video and combined it with his response in the second video, you'd probably get the following ...

CNN Anchor: "It's NOT legal to rape your spouse."

Michael Cohen: "Says who?"

CNN Anchor: "The law."
