Wow.
I wonder if that is just for food and incidentals or everything. Food, incidentals, transportation, lodging etc. if it is just for the former not the latter the IOC appears to be about as corrupt as FIFA...

The per diem is most likely used to wine and dine groups of monied elites who the IOC depends on to cover expenses.

I suspect they have to cover very little out of their per diem allowance, if anything.
