and it would be a mistake to judge him that way.

Fuck those who profoundly dishonored our nation by voting for this dysfunctional buffoon for PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES. They disgrace their citizenship, and if I could give them 6 months of the government they like to claim we have I would.

For the first time ever, an American won the women's triathlon this afternoon.

The U.S.A. has almost twice the number of medals as the the country that is second in the medals count. Such a bunch of losers!

Not athletes in the Olympics. In that case, he is kinda right. Blue collar workers aren't winning anymore. What he neglects to say, is that it's mostly due to Republican economic policies which drove all the wealth to the top and expanded income inequality.

The point is that their talents were nurtured largely in our state's institution of higher education.

Paul Krugman writes extensively on the plight of blue collar workers. It's a confluence of economic and political power. His recent think piece in NY Review of Books explains it in depth: http://www.nybooks.com/articles/2015/12/17/robert-reich-challenging-oligarchy/

I have never worked so hard in a course (grad school) as the Econ course. I wish I had had Krugman's course but I learned enough to make it through his think pieces...

ass kicking by the US women's basketball team. In fact, U.S. athletes have rolled right over their competition at this Olympics. As for Trump, some people just want to see the world burn.
