The new Trump is still lying in Virginia.

More than the old Trump.

"Politicians think we're joking. We don't joke" (They use sarcasm)

Virginia is in chaos and Trump's law and order will end that.

So much more that I can't keep up.

This guy doesn't know what state he's in. The only problem Virginia has is the gop.legislature due to districting.

Normally this stuff isn't very important before Labor Day. But Trump is so far behind, he has to treat every day like it is the stretch drive.

So look at where the candidates are. PA, OH, MI, and CO look very difficult for Trump. If he can't take any of those, then really, his only path involves taking AZ, FL, NC, and VA -- and even that isn't enough.

So although he is way behind in VA, he has no choice but to try to close the gap in VA, NC and FL. Trump and Pence have events scheduled in VA, OH, TX, IA, and PA. That's right, Texas (Austin). Trump is having to defend Texas. Nate Silver has Trump up by only about 5 points in TX (adjusted for pollster reliability.)

Hillary has an event scheduled in OH, but she is using August mostly for fund-raising under the theory "If your opponent is busy shooting himself in the foot, don't get in his way." We'll see what her itinerary looks like after Labor Day. She should be refreshed.
