For some of us it is actually possible to accept the facts that prominent studies now support, that under a Democratic or Republican presidency, we have been sliding towards oligarchy at an alarming rate AND understand it is important not to allow Drumpt to win.

Conspiracy theory is ridiculous. We elected Obama to be President. He is not part of some small cabal. He had to deal with Congress and the Judiciary. We are not ruled by a few people - we have separation of powers and state and federal governments. The idea is ridiculous.

There is no conspiracy theory needed to validate that approximately 60 or so people own more wealth than half the world's population combined. SIXTY!

Everyone here knows that the world's political arena is a pay-to-play system that represents the interest of the very wealthy.

It would be ridiculous to dismiss all the reasons that clearly demonstrate we are a people ruled by a small group of powerful elites.

You are assuming those who own the wealth rule us and that is not the case. We have elections. We function per the constitution. We can vote for anyone we want.

Here there are two main parties but the oligarchs have both covered. A run for President is a multi year process. Candidates are not only vetted by their party, the public, and the media. They are also vetted and groomed by the .1%. Nobody gets in without their approval. Although Bernie almost succeeded. But their minions in the corporate media and in the top few of the DNC were ready to use whatever it took to take him down if he had gotten any closer.
