First Ladies Study

While following a link, I came to a CNN page and at the bottom of the article was a link with the title "First Ladies Who Accomplished The Least." This was accompanied by a photo of Michelle Obama. That seemed a strange juxtaposition so I had to click on the link.

It took me to the First Ladies Study conducted at the Sienna College Research Institute. It's a survey and ranking of the president's wives and takes into consideration a number of variables. I recommend it and here's the link:

I found it curious that the original link I clicked on from the CNN page implied that Mrs. Obama had not accomplished much. If you look at the ranking, Mrs. Obama is fifth from the top of accomplished First Ladies! And guess who is sixth: Hillary Clinton. This page from the study' results is also fascinating in that Mrs. Clinton and Mrs. Obama are featured favorably and prominently:

But I'm still perturbed that the original link gave the impression that Mrs. Obama was a slacker.

Why do you think they did that?

I knew that, Skittles.

What I find more disturbing is that they didn't use a picture of Pat Nixon (#33) or Nancy Reagan (#15).

It strikes me as having a racist undercurrent.

In any event, the study is really just a survey since there isn't any quantifiable metrics in the findings.

but with Michelle, you get all the racist assholes who really hate her, and want to read an article that validates what their dittomasters tell them, and you also get all the people like you who are outraged that Michelle Obama would be considered a slacker......everyone clicks, hence the picture of Michelle is CLICK BAIT

Pat or Nancy? zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

I just like to mention that she wrecked and killed her ex when she saw him driving around with one of her gal pals.

Just remember that it's really just a highfaluting survey.

In any event, Laura must have been really angry about their last date. (snark-snark)

Should've been in the Big House or a halfway house but not the White House.

2014. But they are interesting, nonetheless. I'm not in agreement with all.

The one I got a major kick out of was the "Could Have Done More While in Office" group that included both Barbara and Laura Bush among the top five, LOL.
