U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren is looking to shift from her role as Hillary Clinton’s Donald Trump attack dog to champion the party’s fight for on-the-fence middle-class voters with a hyped public address Thursday in Roxbury.

In an invitation to the Robxury Community College event, the progressive darling says she has been “working on a new presentation on how the playing field got tilted against America’s middle class — and what we can do to fight back. I’ll be trying out this talk in Roxbury, and I’d love for you to join us.”

Despite the promise of a “new” treatment, Warren has repeatedly talked about the middle class being ‘hammered” since her 2012 run. Warren press aides did not respond to requests for comment.

Former Massachusetts Democratic Party Chairman Philip Johnston, who supported Bernie Sanders over Clinton in the primary, said Warren and Sanders are both stumping to undermine Donald Trump among middle-class voters who won him the GOP primary.

BOSTON — U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren is planning to give a presentation on her vision for America's agenda.

On Thursday, the Massachusetts Democrat will visit the Roxbury Community College Media Arts Center to deliver the public talk.

Warren says she's fine-tuning a presentation on how the playing field is tilted against the middle class and what steps can be taken to reverse the trend. Warren already has given a version of the presentation in Somerville.

Warren says she's a data wonk at heart. She says she's spent much of her career studying why working families in America are going broke.
