Once Hillary wins, should Obama withdraw his nomination of Chief Judge Merrick Garland?

Once Hillary wins, should Obama withdraw his nomination of Chief Judge Merrick Garland to the Supreme Court?

I sure as hell think the answer is a resounding YES!!! A person at lunch suggested this and I thought that was a great idea!

It would free Clinton to nominate whom she wants, rather than the nominee of Orrin Hatch, no friend to progressives he.

Any thought on this?

But on the other hand, CJ Garland is what the GOP wants and this might throw them a bone?

The President's a man of his word, and I think President Clinton would also probably follow through on his wishes.

However, I think it's possible that if Hillary wins, RBG will announce her retirement, and depending on the new makeup of the Senate, she might be able to nominate someone along similar lines as her ideology.

out of respect for both the nominee and President Obama. He is a good choice no matter what.

Hillary wil have other chances to nominate SCOTUS judges. That is just one more reason to get her elected.

as the next justice of the Supreme Court. Would have the delicious opportunity to have a great judge on the court while freaking the heck out the people who support The Orange Man. Sweet.
