I think it's the most effective way to frame an opponent, unlike other political ads you commonly see where some pissed-off sounding narrator pulls some obscure source's statements or stats and make that person sound like he or she is the spawn of Satan and the most unqualified person to ever run for office.

I really dislike ads that say something like: Did you know that my opponent drinks Coors Light? Clearly he will never support the craft beer makers of this country (or state) and it's equally obvious that anyone who drinks Coors Light probably dislikes cats, dogs, and small children. On election day, vote for craft beer, cats, dogs, and small children!

It should be obvious I'm using a very trivial example, but more often these negative ads cherry-pick for something not really important, or relevant.

However, I do hope the Clinton campaign starts using more ads that show her in a positive light and highlight what she hopes to accomplish as President.

But then again that's what the republican party has been trading in since the 60's.

Trump and his alt-right allies are just ripping off the mask of respectability and showing their ass to the American public this time.

How will the country respond to it?

That's the question.

I agree. She/her team has to be relentless. Trump and his minions have said or done so many horrible things that it should be easy to keep hammering away. Day and night...24/7. Put this bastard in his place and show the American people what a horrible sh*t this man is.

An African American supporting Trump makes about as much sense as a Log Cabin Republican.

And the thing is, there aren't many fools (politically speaking) in the African American community. There are plenty of white idiots who vote against their self interest every time out. Trump is wasting his time here.

If the media won't confront him, Hillary has to. I'm sure she'd prefer not to go negative but trump is used to ass kissers who want to believe his bullshit. He's played cable news and the reckoning is going to be brutal because fame is fickle when it's built on evil.
Years ago I voiced my concern about the rise of the right-wing in Europe, trump aligns himself with a dangerous movement. Hillary needs to take him down so hard that they crawl back into their safe spaces. This cannot be mainstream.
