Trump's trip is example of his dangerous impulsive behavior.

We can hope that he does not create an international incident.

The State Dept did not have time to set up the trip and he went on a whim. Perhaps he thinks he can make some type of political hay before his big speech on immigration tonight?

It's disturbing because it is indicative of what he might do as Commander in Chief. I seriously doubt that he would hesitate at all to send troops into any country that might speak ill of him.

He has shown himself to be a loser, no matter how this trip turns out.

This is a perfect example of him putting his personal goals above the country's. I think this is a matter of pure ego for him. He wants people to think he's a tough guy who's not afraid of other countries. He has no regard for the subtleties of international diplomacy – all that matters is his image. It's incredibly irresponsible and wreckless.

I really hope he doesn't create some kind of incident. You could argue he already has, just by going to Mexico after his dangerous rhetoric against Mexico, Mexicans, and Mexican-Americans.

He went there to cut a deal, the best deal, a huge deal which will solve illegal immigration until the end of times.
He will brag about it in his rallies and imply that only him could make it happen. etc..etc.. this will lead to the mexican president denouncing it and cause a diplomatic incident. Way to go Donald !

And the whole country really, really hates him. The whole impulsive thing reeks of a set up. Like someone manipulated him into going, and there's a whole lotta people who wouldn't mind if something bad happened to him (including all of Mexico).

a Mexican prison? I would imagine Nieto's popularity would soar. Republicans would be torn whether to demand we send in the Marines to rescue Donald, or replace him on the ballot and thank the Mexican President for saving the Republican Party.

And he rushes to Mexico. It's hard to believe that he wouldn't offer everything possible to get the president to go along with his rhetoric about building a wall. Is Rudy Guiliani there to assure him that they'll be no consequences for crimes against the US and no accountability by the media? The fact that 911 Guiliani and Trump are campaigning together, without any scrutiny by the media, is beyond belief. When you have a candidate who viciously attacked the Bush administration for 911 and Iraq, and one of the biggest and loudest voices of support for Bush and his illegal actions, in the same room day after day, how the fuck do you not bring it up and ask questions? How do these journalists live with themselves?
