He's puffy and tired looking. Plus when I see him at a podium, he looks like he's leaning on it to keep from falling down.
I'd love to see a debate without podiums and let the US people see which candidate is in poor health.

(44,996 posts)His suits are baggy and poorly cut,
his ties are clownishly too long,
he's puffy and out of shape.
And don't get me started on the
amateurish whine that comes
from his mouth. Trump is a poseur
who is clearly out of his league.

(53,410 posts)When people first get there and they aren't used to the elevation they feel and look like crap. It feels like a hangover after a week's drunken binge. You feel you can't breath right and you get winded very easily. There's less oxygen with the thinner air. It can really make you feel crappy. And it takes a week or more for your body to adjust to it while it works overtime to create more white blood cells to capture oxygen.

(111,227 posts)When I moved to the southern Rockies, I had to relearn a lot of lab value normals. It takes about 3 weeks to manufacture enough red blood cells to carry oxygen adequately. Until then, flatlanders tire very quickly at a mile up and can experience altitude sickness if they go much higher. Also, long distance truckers tend to have their heart attacks here when they go through some of the high passes.
The increase in red blood cells comes with an increased oxygen carrying capacity. A lot of Olympians train out here. I see a lot of runners and cyclists on mountain roads whenever the weather is good. Erythropoetin is illegal. High altitude training does the same thing and isn't.

(53,410 posts)If you aren't used to it you can feel terrible! I think that's what makes Trump look worse than normal.

(111,227 posts)Jets are pressurized to 8000 feet and that's where he's been spending a lot of his time lately. Mexico City is 2.2KM, meaning about 7200 feet.
Like I said in another post, I hope there's a cardiologist in his entourage. I think he needs one.

(1,307 posts)he eats like crap (junk food and fast food constantly) and when he exits the ramp on his plane, he has a death grip on the rail and is looking straight down to watch his step (whereas Obama basically does flips down the stairs and looks quite fit)

Heh. I crack myself up sometimes.
Checking a clip posted on MSN (I left the sound off for the sake and safety of my computer screen), Trump didn't look all that hale and healthy, but then they did a two shot of President Pena Nieto looking at him from the podium on Trump's right. If looks could maim, Donald would have needed a stretcher to get off the dais.

(14,274 posts)I first noticed it when he did his acceptance speech at the Republican convention. I attributed it to nerves. But the more I see of him, the more I am inclined to suspect he has heart issues and is unable to fully catch his breath. I suspect artery blockage.

(3,469 posts)Someone said that yesterday as a joke but the more I looked at that picture of him golfing the more I thought they may be onto something. His butt in that picture (yuk) is bunchy and looks padded by more than just fat. Plus, look at how his clothes are tailored. His suit jackets are always much, much longer than is fashionable and really unusual for an expensive tailored suit. And he ALWAYS has a suit jacket on these days, even when he's attending casual events. The suits are cut long to cover his adult diapers.
