FYI: Rob Reiner helped to create Stephen Bannon (Breitbart), Trump's Campaign Manager

From wiki:

In 1990, Bannon and several colleagues from Goldman Sachs launched Bannon & Co., a boutique investment bank specializing in media. Through Bannon & Co., Bannon negotiated the sale of Castle Rock Entertainment to Ted Turner. As payment, Bannon & Co. accepted a stake in five television shows, including Seinfeld. Société Générale purchased Bannon & Co.

Castle Rock Entertainment was co-founded by Rob Reiner.

Reiner has stated that Castle Rock's purpose was to allow creative freedom to individuals; a safe haven away from the pressures of studio executives. Castle Rock was to make films of the highest quality, whether they made or lost money

by enabling my employer to rent and take up that much more office space, this extra demand drove up real estate prices in manhattan, in turn making donald trump rich!

how is your analogy comparable? Reiner created the entity that made Bannon uber wealthy. Without that deal, Bannon is a nobody.

it's not like they were business partners working side-by-side for years.

sounds like bannon was a broker when reiner wanted to sell his business. bannon got a fee for a service.

this is not reiner creating bannon any more than saying i'm responsible for all future actions of anyone i ever pay for anything.

actually, it sounds like what really made bannon's fortunes was his decision to get his fee in the form of rights on shows like seinfeld, which would have been more of a negotiation with the buyer than with reiner.

If Reiner built houses instead of movies and TV shows, and then sold them to a broker who made an unusual profit from them, then yes, Reiner in a sense created the asset that took Bannon from an ordinary broker to a multi-million dollar player.
