Bloomberg expands 'With All Due Respect'

Bloomberg is expanding John Heilemann and Mark Halperin's daily politics show "With All Due Respect" from 30 minutes to a full hour, the network announced on Thursday.

The move runs contrary to some reports that Bloomberg founder and former New York City Mayor Mike Bloomberg had soured on Bloomberg Politics and Heilemann and Halperin's show after the departure of Josh Tyrangiel who was a key executive in producing the vertical.

“I’ve become a devotee of Bloomberg Politics,” Bloomberg said in a statement after the initial reports. “It’s an important part of our TV line-up and our strategy, giving our customers the news and people they need going into election season. I fully support it.”

The move to a full hour will "give more time for the reporting, interviews and analysis that is helping to make Bloomberg TV a destination for political coverage," wrote Bloomberg TV head Al Mayers in a memo to staff.
