I thought the Pres showed up at ex-Presidents' and former First Ladies' funerals. I am no fan of the Reagans, but skipping this seems a bit classless.

I know I wouldn't want to go to a funeral that the president is attending, even if I liked/loved that president.

The only First Ladies whose funerals have been attended by a sitting President in the last 70 years was Eleanor Roosevelt in 1962 and Jacqueline Kennedy in 1994 by President John F. Kennedy and President Bill Clinton respectively.

Screw the Republicans. Mrs. Clinton, Mrs. Obama and Mrs. Carter need to stay away from those wackos.

There's a wonderful story about JFK and Eleanor Roosevelt. She had supported Stevenson for the 1960 nomination and Kennedy had an appointment to visit her to try to win her support. The day before the scheduled meeting, Eleanor's granddaughter died. Kennedy offered to postpone the meeting, Eleanor said no, and they met for a few hours. Eleanor convinced that Jack would fight for Civil Rights, came out in support of JFK.. That was good enough for my mom. We had a Kennedy sign in our window the next day.
