Target Invests $20 Million For Single-Stall Bathrooms Following Transgender Policy
Source: CW33 NewsFix
MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. Retail giant Target wants all shoppers to come in and "go."
That is, go to the restroom in the new single-stall bathrooms.
The retailer recently announced it is spending $20 million into adding new single-stall units, which critics said is the price of Target's transgender bathroom policy.
Target has a big bulls-eye on it thanks to boycotters raising a ruckus over the retailer's policy which states people can "use the restroom or fitting room facility that corresponds with their gender identity."

For groceries, the local Wegman's is much better. I don't think Target has much in the way of fresh produce.

(20,142 posts)Apparently others felt the same way. It's one of the areas that's been losing money. I think they started building the Super Targets with the grocery section to compete with Walmart Supercenters and they just never caught on.
I also think it was a mistake to sell their pharmacies to CVS. It may not have been a big money maker, but it did bring people into the store. CVS raised prices, so now many people have gone elsewhere.

Now they're unable to control the toilets in Target.
