Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein to appear on Nebraska ballot

LINCOLN — Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein will appear on the Nov. 8 ballot in Nebraska.

Secretary of State John Gale announced Friday that her supporters had submitted 5,388 valid signatures to add her name to the ballot. She needed 2,500 signatures to qualify.

Although Stein is the nominee of the Green Party, she will be identified on the Nebraska ballot with the words “by petition” next to her name.

The Green Party did not submit petitions to be a recognized party in Nebraska for the 2016 general election, Gale said.

Every time I log onto DU it sounds more and more like freerepublic.

"Putin's Princess" and "the Russian oligarchy's candidate"? It sounds like some of Clinton's supporters want to relive *'s pResidency with Clinton as * and them as *'s dead-enders. Your "With Her" or against her apparently.
