Clinton Campaign Issues Statement on Trump’s Trip to Mexico
Source: Bloomberg Politics
"From the first days of his campaign, Donald Trump has painted Mexicans as rapists and criminals and has promised to deport 16 million people, including children and U.S. citizens," Clinton campaigns Jennifer Palmieri says in statement.

(570 posts)No matter what, Trump is not coming out of this meeting smelling like a rose. The reason it's happening in Mexico is so Pena Nieto and his people can control the circumstances.
Frankly, I think there's a security issue as well, especially since Trump's rash behavior has him dropping everything to run off to this meeting. Not a lot of time for the secret service to scout out ahead of time and secure the arrangements.
If he comes back and either resigns or completely changes his tune on immigration in AZ tonight, then I think we can deduce that the Mexican president has something on Trump - maybe straight out of the Panama Papers.
Worst case scenario would be for him to not come at all. Our biggest problem isn't Trump, it's his supporters who follow him like a cult leader and cheerfully commit acts of violence on his behalf. We definitely want him to come back safe and sound, so we can defeat his orange ass with a landslide in November.
