Cocaine 'worth €50m' discovered at Coca-Cola plant

Cocaine with a street value of up to 50 million euros (£42m) has been discovered at a Coca-Cola plant in France.

The drug, hidden in bags among a delivery of orange juice concentrate, arrived in a container from South America.

An investigation is under way in Signes, a village in southern France.

The seizure of 370kg of cocaine makes it one of the largest finds on French soil.

Yeah I was thinking along the same lines. Maybe they were simply going for the original recipe? The French do have that classic taste.

remember reading a few years ago that they were one of the few legal importers of coca leaf.

Finding drugs and sometimes weapons wasn't that unusual, they never arrested anyone who worked for us and believed someone had failed to retrieve the contraband in Long Beach.
