A Republican lawmaker from Pennsylvania is under criminal investigation for drugging and raping a woman in the capital city of Harrisburg, reports Pennlive.

Rep. Brian Ellis (R-Butler County) is being investigated by the Dauphin County District Attorney's office for an incident that took place outside a bar in the city.

According to the report, Ellis and the woman were at the same bar when she fell down, hard, suffering injuries.

"We want to make it very clear that she was not voluntarily intoxicated. This woman was incapacitated," the state's Victim Advocate said on her behalf. "She does believe that she was drugged and that she did seek medical attention the following day because she was in pain and she did indeed have a concussion and other injuries."

By Jan Murphy | jmurphy@pennlive.com

A woman who claims she was sexually assaulted by a Pennsylvania state lawmaker believes she was drugged, according to Jennifer Storm, Pennsylvania’s victim advocate.

The woman, who works at the state Capitol, alleges she was assaulted by state Rep. Brian Ellis, a Butler County Republican, following an encounter at a Harrisburg bar in 2015. Storm, who is working with the woman, said Friday that the woman was not drunk the night of the alleged assault but incapacitated by a drug. At some point, sources have told PennLive, the woman took a hard fall.

....is uber wing nutty and saturated with worshipers of the Orange Anus. Instead of condemning his behavior, they'll probably give him an award such as Man of the Year. For those familiar with Pennsylvania politics, I could envision such a presentation being performed by the "esteemed" Representative Daryl Metcalfe (R-Butler/Cranberry Township).
