Stone: I'll talk to Mueller about conversations with Trump

Source: Politico

By QUINT FORGEY 01/27/2019 10:35 AM EST

Roger Stone said Sunday he would be willing to testify to Robert Mueller regarding potential crimes by members of Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign, and that he would speak with the special counsel about his conversations with the president.

The longtime Trump adviser told host George Stephanopoulos during an interview on ABC’s “This Week” that the extent of his cooperation with Mueller is something he would “have to determine after my attorneys” following “some discussion,” but added: “If there’s wrongdoing by other people in the campaign that I know about, which I know of none, but if there is I would certainly testify honestly.”

Stone was arrested Friday morning at his South Florida home after Mueller’s office issued a seven-count indictment accusing him of witness tampering and alleging he misled Congress about his efforts to communicate with WikiLeaks and his contacts with the Trump campaign.

“I’d also testify honestly about any other matter, including any communications with the president,” Stone said Sunday.

And lie even more and catch even more charges, and find out they know a lot more than he ever imagined, then know he, like Manafort , is screwed . They'll have more than enough on him on State charges to put him away for life. He too will be regretting not telling the complete truth, and be crying how he's the victim. He may be thinking a pardon , but trump won't do it without getting another obstruction charge against him as it gets proven they were conspiring together. Arrogant Stone is realizing he won't escape this no matter what he does, and watch how quickly he turns, and starts talking differently.

It's useful to a point maybe, but after that it becomes counterproductive....by adding additional years or even decades to a sentence.

Picture Mueller as Little Bill and Stone as Ned Logan in Unforgiven. "when your lies ain't the same as their lies....I'm going to hurt you. And not gentle like before. But bad."

Keep pulling on loose threads. Some don't go anywhere. But some just take off. And at some unknowns tipping point, it all falls apart.

His braggadocio about never going to testify against the President is b.s. and
Stone will try to save himself.

He will just lie his ass off.

You’ve been indicted, you’re going to court and then you’re going to jail. No one cares what a proven liar has to say.

But he was on TV with George this morning? Why? The guy is out on bail. He is a liar and a crook. I hit the roof when I saw my husband watching that piece of crud on TV this morning. He does not deserve a platform, other than the witness stand in the courtroom.

I am sick of these guys. I am sick of them having a voice with our lame MSM.

This rat bastard has made lies his stock and trade for decades. Our “media” is not serving us well when they chase after these bottom feeders for ratings. Swear them in, put them on the witness stand, then maybe I’ll care about what comes out of their pie hole. Until then they can just STFU.

For these old farts. Who wants to face more than a decade in a cell when you’re in your seventies? They can rot in hell as far as I’m concerned.

Objective evidence that will tell him whether or not Stone is lying, at least on some questions. Getting caught in lies to Mueller will add to his sentence. I'm willing to bet he doesn't want to risk that

Sentence him first -- lock in a sentence of a dozen years ... then off to the races.

Also, only documents, emails and text messages would be sought because the guy's testimony is worth less than dog poo.

muellers targets get all drunked up and say he wouldn't tell mueller anything?

Washington (CNN)In a defiant set of CNN interviews, former Trump campaign aide Sam Nunberg said Monday he refuses to comply with a grand jury subpoena in the Russia investigation.
"Screw that," Nunberg told CNN's Gloria Borger. "Why do I have to go? Why? For what?"
