patients in for drug rehab. I have a friend who is a police officer and he says they spend a lot of time there because the rehab patients are visited by their dealers, they fight among themselves all the time and steal from each other, attack the staff, and also attack the other (older) residents. You can imagine the staff turnover.

This is so infuriating to see the elderly being preyed upon.

We need much stronger laws to protect senior citizens.

When I was growing up (gen-x'er) even the gangbanger types considered it weak/cowardly to harm the elderly.
