the system that they built.
Imagine setting up a toll booth on every highway and collecting a fee. This is why we need to regulate the internet and make it a utility, much like electricity, available to everyone at a standard fee.
The profits for selling the information generated by the use should return to the people creating the information.

I know that at this level a lot of this discussion is a relative one but what percentage of his worth is liquid and available for quick (again a relative term) use/access?

“Without Facebook, we wouldn't have won,” said Theresa Hong (Trump's digital platform manager)

INTERVIEWER: I mean, what were Facebook, Google and YouTube people actually doing here? Why were they here?

THERESA HONG: They were helping us, you know I mean they were basically our hands-on partners as far as being able to you know, utilize the platform as effectively as possible.

[The Trump campaign spent $85 million on Facebook.]

When you’re pumping in millions and millions of dollars to these social platforms, you’re gonna get white club treatment, so they would send people, you know, representatives, to the Project Alamo to ensure that all of our needs were being met.

Its way too much power and responsibility for one person.

And like Zuckerberg, it creates a "God Complex". He's a younger version of Kavanaugh, who grew up privileged and sexist, and created an app to judge women's looks and rating them. It was the perfect storm in that the world was just at the brink of the new social media age where the internet was primed and ready for a social contact hub to connect with each other. So his app had a head start to morph into that.

In those White House meetings with Trump, I imagine them rating different public women and having a laugh. And Mark assuring Donald that he won't censor any ad he wants on there. Once a dick always a dick.
