Safe Shot General Manager Facing Federal Charges

Source: ktvn.com

The general manager of Safe Shot indoor shooting range is facing federal charges for allegedly selling gun illegally out of the store.

Federal Agents booked 59-year-old James Harwin after prosecutors say he was caught selling machine guns without doing background checks on the buyers. They say Harwin also altered or removed the serial numbers from those weapons.

Agents took Harwin into custody after posing as buyers and purchasing those guns. During a court preceding Friday, prosecutors said Harwin also had $100,000 in cash on him when he was arrested.

We don't see eye-to-eye on a lot of politics, but gunnut that he is he never trusted Safe Shot or the people who run it.

It's already against the law to own any machine gun, unless you have a federal permit. And yes, filing off the serial numbers is also against the law. Throw the book at him, so other crooked dealers get the message.
