Poll shows Brad Ashford neck and neck with Lee Terry

WASHINGTON – Democrat Brad Ashford released poll results Tuesday showing him neck-and-neck with incumbent Rep. Lee Terry, R-Neb.

"The poll gives an indication that we have a good chance to be competitive," Ashford told The World-Herald.

The survey is expected to elevate Ashford in the eyes of national Democrats and provide an early boost to his campaign.

For example, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee could prioritize the race through its red-to-blue program, which would help Ashford raise campaign cash.

He isn't perfect, but he's way better than Terry.

I find it entertaining that the DCCC doesn't take Ashford under their wing - must mean they don't expect him to come close to Terry. I also find it entertaining that Ashford bought his own poll from Al Gore's firm. Is he for real??
