Lara Logan Returning to 60 Minutes After Absence
Source: Mediaite
After a months-long absence over a controversial, discredited Benghazi report, CBS Lara Logan has returned to work on 60 Minutes, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
CBS announced that Logan was taking a leave of absence back in November, weeks after Logan did a piece highlighting the account of a man whose story about what happened the night of September 11th, 2012 on the Benghazi compound. Logan apologized, but CBS still came under intense fire for airing the report.
But now, a CBS News spokesperson has confirmed to the Associated Press that Logan is back at work on 60 Minutes. It is not known when her next on-screen appearance on the newsmagazine will be.

(9,426 posts)Just in time to interview the fellow soldiers of Bergdahl. She had better remember the Pat Tillman fiasco, when the TRUTH was different from the first accounts. His parents had to fight to get the truth, just as I am afraid Beregdahl's parents will have to do. Sixty Minutes is just another right leaning propoganda arm of the gop. Logan has lost all credibility, she should go find someone else's HUSBAND to fool around with. Isn't that what she did, while reporting during the war?

(8,907 posts)we obviously have forgotten about her.
So 60 minutes will try to sneak her back in.
We won't notice.
All her credibility is gone. I stopped watching 60 Minutes a long time ago. Maybe they could hire someone with substance, like Sarah PayMe? She is good at repeating the talking points the Koch brothers want out, in that screechy irritating voice.

(53,661 posts)No matter whatever lies they are caught pushing, they look out for their own paychecks and maintaining standing in their social circles first.
Liberals on programs are abused with psychologically manipulated, biased shows designed to denigrate and take their voice. If they resist, their character will always be assassinated, and then they'll be fired.
While those pulling this shit never go away, there is no accountability. I wonder how many of them are related to 'The Family' that a book was written on, and posted about at DU. That group includes Oliver North and others who would otherwise never be allowed to speak except for their connections.
They are a dangerous cabal.

(10,494 posts)corporations like BP. Being heavily involved in the BP Texas City explosion that killed 15 in 2005 and now the Gulf oil spill, I know a thing or two about what is going on. 60 Minutes did a story on our firm and one of our clients who lost both her mom and dad in the 2005 explosion. Their producers were in our offices for 2 months researching the story and Ed Bradley came out of his brief retirement to make that his last story before he died of cancer. They gave both sides on that story to the extent BP would speak with them. Now they come in and and give a one-sided (BP's side) hit piece slamming the victims and portraying BP as the victim. They know our firm and we asked to give the opposing view but were not contacted at all.
Pressure from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the American Petroleum Institute, BP, and the other oil companies through their advertising dollars allow them to control the MSM. Americans are mushrooms. We are kept in the dark and fed shit and like it, at least the ignorant ones who do not question what they see and hear.
Our justice system has failed the Gulf oil spill victims. The oil companies money and power/influence are unmatched in history and visible when you look at Fracking chemicals kept secret while they tell us it is impossible to mix in the water table. They have effectively neutered any attempts to develop Green Energy and now push a tax on solar panels. Wake up America, they are killing us all and we are letting them!
