Since they rarely associate on a personal level with regular folks they rely on anecdotal stories they have heard as facts that apply across the board. Bottom line, they think they know what they are talking about, but in reality they do not have a clue!

He then uses these "facts" to justify opinions that are outrageous.

They write basically the same thing and whatever is the story of the week.

Talk radio had been jabbing at this story (faux manliness is one of their pillars) and Will, as usual, uses a few words that are a little bit fancier.
