Hinds County (Miss.) GOP Chairman: Allegations of 700 Illegal Votes False

Source: WJTV -7 minutes ago Jun 27, 2014 12:56 PM CST

The Hinds County GOP Chairman speaks out about the Tea Party checking the votes cast in the Primary Runoff between Thad Cochran and Chris McDaniel. In a press conference Friday, Hinds County GOP Chairman Pete Perry calls the Mississippi Tea Party's allegations of nearly 700 illegally votes cast in the Republican Primary runoff false.

McDaniel staffers and supporters went to the Hinds County Courthouse comparing the June 3 Democratic poll books to the Republican runoff poll books. The McDaniel camp claims there are several irregularities from the June 24 election.
Perry, says the allegation of 700 illegal votes is false.

"I don't call it illegal voting, he said. "Have I seen evidence of possible mistakes? We haven't gotten there yet, I'm sure there were mistakes, I don't deny that there might be, but I don't say that's illegal voting."
In the press conference Perry went over the rules and procedures for election day laws.

News Channel 12 has reached out to Cochran's camp for a statement about McDaniel's review of the books, we were told no comment.

That some black people might have actually voted. This is HIGHLY irregular in these parts. We are deputizing some good honest folKs that we know from our community group to look into this possibly going and talKing to some blacK people about this.

the funnier it gets.
It is not often that a GOP activity is more comical than dangerous.
We should find ways to encourage it!
Spread the word that the Teabagger branch of the GOP got a raw deal.
Reinforce their notions of the importance of idealogical purity and support their patriotic thoughts of striking out on their own.
Teatopia is but an election away if only they could rid themselves of the dratted RINOs.

Support you're friendly neighborhood third party!

In the general election we would get all the dem votes and all the non tea bag repugs. I thought we should have let him win rather than ask our fellow african american dems to help out the other guy.
