An Ohio man who spent 27 years in prison for a crime he didnt commit was brought to tears Tuesday when a judge dropped all charges against him. Kwame Ajamu, 56, was the last of three men exonerated in the 1975 robbery and murder of a Cleveland-area money order salesman.

Im so happy today that this battle has come to an end, said Ajamu, formerly known as Ronnie Bridgeman, as he wept and thanked his attorneys and wife before hugging the judge and the prosecutor.
The two other accused, Ajamus brother, Wiley Bridgeman, 60, and Ricky Jackson, 57, were released from prison last month. The men won their freedom after a witness last year recanted his testimony from the trial, saying he was coerced by detectives at the time. Ajamu was originally sentenced to death, but it was vacated because of a paperwork error. He later earned parole in 2003.

At least that is what was done to the Tennessee Three who were under arrest for their supposed heinous and Satanic murder of several little boys back in the early 1990's. Their case was made famous when movie stars and artists like Johnny Depp and Eddie Vedder pursued their struggle for Justice. It is now believed that one of the step fathers of the little boys' friends did this murder.
Once you plead out, and get released, part of your agreement is that you cannot sue them.
And in other cases, once you are freed, authorities simply stick another murder on you. In the case of a Manitowoc WI man, once he was finally freed from the first murder he was unjustly accused of, police staged a second murder, that supposedly involved him and his mentally ill younger relative. Then the police got the mentally ill relative to state for the record that the two of them did it.
The confession of the younger relative then forced the dropping of the court case asking that county for monetary damages for the guy being falsely arrested and incarcerated for murder number one. Oh, and the guy was convicted of the new murder, to boot.
What is particularly scary about the Manitowoc murder, the second one, is that the police staged it - so who the hell actually killed the young woman whose dead and tortured body that they used to do the framing of this new crime? Was it police officers themselves? Or who?
