#BlackLivesMatter Protesters Block Entrance To Oakland Police Headquarters

Happening now:

OAKLAND (CBS SF)_ Protesters are blocking the entrance of the Oakland Police Department headquarters this morning to call for the end of police killings of unarmed black people.

The protest started around 7:45 a.m. at the police building at 455 Seventh St.

KCBS reporter Holly Quan is at the scene where she said at least three groups are represented in the protest and have locked arms in PVC piping across Broadway.

Police are present, but are hanging back and seem to be assessing the situation.

My note: KPFA radio is reporting that arrests are being made at the moment and some of the police are being aggressive.
