US to veto UN resolution 'to end occupation'

Source: ynetnews

US Secretary of State John Kerry reportedly told the Palestinians the United States will veto a proposed Palestinian resolution "to end the occupation" at the United Nations Security Council on Wednesday, Palestinian sources said.

Kerry, however, told a press conference on Tuesday that "no determinations" have been made yet.

"We've made no determinations about language, approaches, specific resolutions, any of that," Kerry said.

"This isn't the time to detail private conversations or speculate on a UN Security Council resolution that hasn't even been tabled no matter what pronouncements are made publicly about it."

It's not unexpected.
Both countries use the same tactics to get their way.
The US just has a stronger position in the United Nations.
I would bet AIPAC has something to do with this as well.

Israel has the first cost free occupation in history. The Palestinians are the poor labour, the EU pays the bills and America offers a free pass in the UN.
Never has a truer statement been made.

Never has the indigenous population returned to its homeland in strength after a long exile. This has worried a LOT of countries that rely on the continued presence of occupied land such as the United States, Australia, and all of North Africa from their own indigenous populations. It is very convenient to forget about the Arab occupation of North Africa in all of this https://intercontinentalcry.org/free-people-the-imazighen-of-north-africa/ . Most people don't even know about their plight after centuries of oppression.
