Protesters: 'It's not the time' for more Cuba ties

Source: Local ABC affiliate (Arizona)

MIAMI - Waving U.S. and Cuban flags and chanting "Obama, traitor," anti-Castro protesters gathered Saturday in a Little Havana park in a show of opposition to the president's plan to normalize relations with the communist nation.

Cuban-American exiles and island opposition leaders vowed to continue fighting the thawing relationship between the countries and prevent any lifting of the embargo. Some speakers emphasized unity of the Cuban-American community and said there is not a generational divide, even though most in the crowd of more than 200 were older.

Hope their grandkids showed them how to set their DVRs to record Matlock. Kids these days are pretty busy, what with not giving a shit about continuing failed policies put in place decades before their PARENTS were born.

smart was better than stomping your feet and acting like a proud ass clown like the last two.

Good thing Obama did - about time we got a grown up in the room.

Now if he could work on getting the 10 million+ children and adults who fell into poverty during his administration - also known as "the years of making banksters richer" - instead of leaving them there in the name of "deficit reduction" while people pat him on the back, we would all be better off.

- That just makes the regime stronger and the people weaker. (Younger brother is 82. I'm sure it will give him life regenerating powers)
- It sends the wrong message to terrorists and criminals that no matter what, they can get away with it. (Irony coming from a group of people who are protecting a terrorist who blew up a plane with a group of young fencing team members on it)
