VA moves to restrict treason symbols at cemeteries

By Joe Davidson
August 25 at 7:00 AM

The Civil War has been over for 151 years, and Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) cemeteries, which began three years prior, have finally decided to restrict flags representing the killers of U.S. government soldiers.

VA now plans to “amend our policy to make clear that Confederate flags will not be displayed from any permanently fixed flagpole in a national cemetery at any time” ...

“This flag is a flag of treason and of racism,” Ellison added. “No matter what background you come from, no matter what color you are, that flag should be a deeply offensive signal.”

It is. That’s why the VA and the Park Service acted, finally.

The Civil War is over. The side flying the Stars & Bars lost. It is NOT going to rise again under that evil rag. Deal with it.

For all the Confederate blathering about 'Northern aggression', they fired first. They seized Federal property, and fired on Federal troops. That's treason.
